Clay Township Master Plan Public MeetingThe following links are provided for your information prior to the Master Plan public meeting at a regularly scheduled Planning Commission Meeting on January 25, 2012 at 7:30PM Due to the length of the full document, I have edited some background pictures especially topographical data. Update News on Boys Club Development:
On May 25, 2010, the Michigan Supreme Court issued a one
sentence ruling on the Appeal by the Lucky Seven. As written, this
effectively ends any appeal on this matter and reads: For

on Hunt Club Property! The
michigan Natural Resource Trust Fund has recommended a
grant of $3.3 million to Clay Township to buy 440 acres of globally
imperiled habitat off Stewart Road on Harsens Island. Supervisor
Krueger pointed out that the property could become a multi-faceted
facility after appropriate requirements such as appraisals are met.
Since then, a private owner has purchased said property which may
render the attempted public acquisition moot
